Axis Bank Adds IndiGo BluChip as Reward Transfer Partner

Axis Bank has expanded its rewards ecosystem by adding IndiGo's newly revamped loyalty program, BluChip, as a points transfer partner. This integration allows cardholders earning EDGE Rewards or EDGE Miles to convert their points directly into BluChip coins, opening a major redemption avenue for domestic travelers in India.

IndiGo currently commands the largest share of domestic aviation traffic in India. Over the past year, the airline has aggressively expanded its BluChip program by partnering with financial institutions, hotel chains, and lifestyle brands. By enabling reward transfers, Axis Bank builds on its existing co-branded credit card relationship with IndiGo, bringing redemption options to its broader cardholder base.

Points Transfer Rates & Ratios

To mark the launch, Axis Bank is running an introductory transfer promotion valid through August 17, 2026. Following this promotional period, the standard institutionalized transfer ratios will take effect.

Understanding the IndiGo BluChip Program

BluChip coins can be redeemed directly against flight tickets, baggage, meal selections, and other ancillary purchases on IndiGo's website and mobile app. Furthermore, BluChip coins do not expire, addressing a common concern regarding mileage validity.
