Accor Plus Partners with Visa to Offer 6-Month Free Trials for Infinite Cardholders

Visa and Accor have launched a new promotional partnership offering a complimentary six-month trial of the ALL Accor Plus Explorer membership. The offer is aimed at Visa Infinite cardholders across selected markets in the Asia-Pacific region, giving card users a chance to experience the program's hotel and dining discounts without committing to the usual upfront cost.
However, cardholders in India should note that credit cards issued by Indian banks are strictly excluded from this promotion. The offer is only open to Visa Infinite cardholders in eligible countries who register through the dedicated promotional portal by September 30, 2027.

Trial vs. Fully Paid Membership
While the standard ALL Accor Plus Explorer membership typically costs $249 USD annually, the Visa Infinite trial provides a scaled-down version of the subscription.
Here is how the trial membership compares to a fully paid annual membership:
| Feature / Benefit | 6-Month Visa Infinite Trial | Fully Paid Annual Membership |
|---|---|---|
| Membership Duration | 6 months | 12 months |
| ALL Accor Gold Status | Yes (Direct status grant) | Yes (Via 30 status nights credit) |
| Elite Nights Credit | No | 30 Status Nights (allows Platinum track) |
| Stay Plus Free Nights | No | 2 Free Night Certificates |
| Hotel Stay Discount | 15% off public rates | 15% off public rates |
| Dining Discounts | Up to 50% off in Asia-Pacific | Up to 50% off in Asia-Pacific |
| Red Hot Rooms Access | Yes | Yes |
A key distinction lies in status progression. The fully paid membership grants 30 status nights, which automatically awards ALL Gold status but also allows active travelers to build towards the higher ALL Platinum tier. The trial membership, by contrast, grants ALL Gold status directly without adding status nights to the member’s account, meaning trial members cannot use it to fast-track to Platinum. Additionally, the trial does not include the popular Stay Plus complimentary room nights.
Excluded Markets and Anomalies
The eligibility rules for the promotion feature some notable geographic exceptions. Cardholders in major regional hubs—specifically Singapore, Australia, South Korea, India, and New Zealand—are not eligible to participate.
Conversely, the list of eligible countries includes Cambodia, Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Sri Lanka. The inclusion of Sri Lanka is particularly interesting because Accor does not currently operate a single hotel property in the country, whereas excluded regions contain a dense footprint of participating Accor brands.
